Chimay Red
The Chimay Red was the first beer to be brewed by the Trappist monks in 1862. It is the oldest of the Chimay trappist beers, hence its “Premiere” appellation in the 75cl bottle.

Colour: Copper red topped with a creamy head
Scent: A light, fruity apricot aroma is produced by the fermentation
Flavour: Its balanced blend of generous fruity flavours and toffee pleases every appetite. A succession of ripe fruits such as oranges, peaches and apricots is paired with sweet malty flavous such as nougat and biscuit. Its refreshing minerality and smooth bitterness complete the palette of flavours
