Chimay Blue

Chimay Blue was first launched in 1948 as a Christmas beer. Its increasing success led to year-round production and Chimay Blue soon become the leading hallmark of the Abbery range. Chimay Blue is a vintage beer that will continue to improve over the years if stored in a dry dark place.

Brewery Location: Chimay, Belgium

Colour: Warm, dark hues and compact light brown head

Scent: Light flowery, rosy touch together with a pleasant fragrance of fresh yeast

Flavour: It begins with a light sweet note before the creamy caramel transitions to a soft mocha combined with an intense spicy taste, culminating in a delicious candied fruit finish. The delicious overall flavour develops into a pleasant lingering aftertaste, triggering a subtle warm feeling and the sensation of pure chocolate
