CARLOW

Carlow Brewing Company first opened their doors in 1996 after signing a lease on the nineteenth century “Goods Store” on the railway station grounds of Carlow, Ireland. With it’s limestone-rich hard water supply, this location was particularly suitable for brewing traditional Irish stouts and ales.

The independent Irish brewing culture had been in a steady decline for almost 100 years after the Irish beer market was dominated by internationally owned breweries. Fortunately, the tables are slowly turning thanks to the new Irish Craft beer revolution. For 17 years Carlow Brewing has been on the forefront of bringing true traditional brewing back to Ireland. “Brewing in the flavour” relays exactly what Carlow brewing stand for: bold, real Irish craftsmanship.

Carlow Brewing Company takes their commitment to a sustainable future serious and have dedicated themselves to continuously reducing their environmental impact.
