Badger Brewery

Hall & Woodhouse Brewery, Established in 1777 in Dorset, England

BADGER (FORMERLY, HALL & WOODHOUSE)

The original brewery was founded in 1777 by Charles Hall in Blandford Forum, Dorset, England. After Charles death in 1827, his son Robert took over the family business. 20 years later, after marrying Roberts niece, George Woodhouse joined the brewery as partner. The new name “Hall & Woodhouse” was born.

Today the brewery is owned and operated by the seventh generation of the Woodhouse family, Mark and Anthony Woodhouse. The company operates over 250 public houses in the south of England, and brews under the name Badger Brewery. We at McClelland Premium Imports are proud to be able to offer you our three favourite Badger beers in Canada: The Tanglefoot Pale Ale, Fursty Ferret Amber Ale & the Blandford Flyer Ale.
